Early Carreer

Following an early career in corporate treasury, Simon was involved in some of the earliest securitisations completed in the European markets. As co-founder of capital markets advisory boutique Risk Limited, Simon went on to establish the securitisation technology company Demica, following which he returned to investment banking.

Capital Markets

Prior to the global credit crisis Simon was head of UK securitisation for a major European bank covering multiple asset classes and transaction structures, subsequently becoming UK head of Special Assets within the Illiquids Group.

Advisory

Since founding Empiridum in 2011, Simon has primarily advised on asset backed financing arrangements, from asset selection and pricing, equity and warehouse debt funding, term financing, hedging to synthetic risk transfer structures.
